Catechism Teachers
A Service Dedicated to Our Children in Faith Formation.
The role of Catechism Teachers and catechists is vital in moulding children from 1st standard to Pre-University Classes. These teachers help children to imbibe Christ, the Church, Sacraments, Faith, Prayer, Bible, Moral Values and Etiquettes. Through their life, they become models for the children and thereby to the society at large. They take care of Children and coordinate with other Teachers, the Parish Priest and Parents.
Catechism classes commence in June and end in February every year. The class times are 8.15 am to 9.15am except on the first Sundays. Exams are conducted in the Semester System format in September and February. A Catechism Day programme is conducted towards the end of the Catechism academic year.
