Welcoming Ceremony for New Parish Priest, Rev. Fr Jerome DSouza, at St Antony Church, Naravi

On August 9th 2024, A heartfelt welcoming for new parish priest, Rev.Fr Jerome DSouza was held at Naravi church.

Since Rev. Fr Valerian Fernandes was already being transferred, in his absence Rev. Dr Alwin Serrao, the priest incharge handed over the charge of the Naravi church to the incumbent parish priest, Rev. Fr Jerome DSouza in the presence of  Very. Rev. Fr Walter DMello, the Vicar Vara of Belthangady. 

During the parish charge taking ceremony, a brief history of Naravi was being presented, floral welcome was given and a short prayer service was held.

The parishioners of Naravi, Parish priest of Madantyar,same of the parishioners and Sacred Heart  P.U college staff, priests of Belthangady Deanery were alsopresent on the occasion.

Mr. Vincent Rodrigues , was the master of ceremonies, who co- ordinated the event .The Vice President of Naravi church  Mr. Sanjay Miranda, Mrs. Eugine Rodrigues the Secretary of the Parish Pastoral Parishad and others were present.

The ceremony was concluded with a hymns.
