St. Joseph Ward Feast 2025

On Sunday, March 30, 2025, the faithful of St. Joseph Ward at St. Antony Church, Naravi, joyfully celebrated their ward feast. The celebration commenced with the Sunday Mass, where the liturgy was reverently led by the ward members. Following the Mass, the stage program began with a graceful prayer dance performed by Princia and Princita.

The event was skillfully compered by Mrs. Divya Miranda, ensuring a smooth flow of the program. The gathering was honored by the presence of esteemed guests, including Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Jerome D’Souza, Principal Rev. Dr. Alwin Serrao, Mr. Sanjay Miranda, Mrs. Eugine Rodrigues, Sr. Precilla (Superior of Gerosa Convent), Mrs. Mable, and Mr. Bernard. They were warmly welcomed by the Ward Gurkar, Mr. Bernard.

As part of the proceedings, Mrs. Mable Fernandes took the stage to share insights into the ward’s past achievements and contributions, highlighting the unity and dedication of its members.

The event featured a delightful blend of cultural performances, including skits and dances, keeping the audience engaged. In between, two exciting games were conducted, adding to the celebratory spirit. The highlight of the evening was the prize distribution, where winners of the speech competition, catechism exam toppers, keyboard players, game winners, and the lucky family winner were felicitated.

As a gesture of hospitality, all attendees were treated to delicious snacks, further enhancing the joyful atmosphere. The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Mr. John D’Cunha. As the evening came to a close, the ward members rejoiced in the spirit of unity and festivity, cherishing the memorable celebration before returning home with hearts full of joy.
