ಸಂತ ಅಂತೋನಿ ಚರ್ಚ್, ನಾರಾವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯೇಸುಕ್ರಿಸ್ತರು ತಮ್ಮ ಶೀಷ್ಯರೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಕೊನೆಯ ಭೋಜನ ಹಾಗೂ ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತ ಧರ್ಮಸಭೆಯ ಉಗಮದ ಸ್ಮರಣಾರ್ಥ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಗುರುವಾರವನ್ನು ಶೃದ್ಧಾ ಭಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಚರ್ಚ್ ಧರ್ಮಗುರುಗಳಾದ ವಂದನೀಯ ಜೆರೋಮ್ ಡಿ'ಸೋಜರವರು ಪವಿತ್ರ ಬಲಿಪೂಜೆಯನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿ, ಪವಿತ್ರ ಗುರುವಾರದ ದ್ಯೋತಕವಾಗಿ ಬಲಿಪೂಜೆಯ ವೇಳೆ, 12 ಮಂದಿ ಪ್ರೇಷಿತರ ಪಾದಗಳನ್ನು ತೊಳೆಯುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಯೇಸುಕ್ತಿಸ್ತರು ಸಾರಿದ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ವಂದನೀಯ ಆಲ್ವಿನ್ ಸೆರಾವೊ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಪರಮ ಪ್ರಸಾದ ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರ, ಗುರುದೀಕ್ಷೆಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರದ ಸ್ಮರಣೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ, ಬಲಿಪೂಜೆ, ಆರಾಧನೆ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಚರ್ಚ್‌ನ ಭಕ್ತಾಧಿಗಳು ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
Holy Thursday Celebration – 17th April 2025
At St. Anthony's Church, Naravi, Holy Thursday was devoutly celebrated in remembrance of the Last Supper that Jesus Christ held with His disciples and the origin of the Christian Church. Reverend Jerome D'Souza, the parish priest, conducted the Holy Mass and, as a symbol of Holy Thursday, he washed the feet of 12 apostles during the service, conveying the message taught by Jesus Christ. Reverend Alwyn Serrao, the principal, was also present on the occasion. Special prayers, the celebration of the Eucharist, and adoration were held, commemorating the institution of the Holy Eucharist and priesthood. A large number of devotees participated in the solemn celebrations.
